MORNING OFFERING:
O, God, in union with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of
Jesus from all the altars throughout the world, in joining with it, the offering of my every thought,
word, and action of this day. O, my Jesus, I desire today to gain every indulgence and merit I can,
and I offer them, together with myself, to Mary Immaculate, that She may best apply them to the
interests of Thy Most Sacred Heart. Precious Blood of Jesus, save us.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
OUR FATHER:
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on
earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
HAIL MARY:
Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the
fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
GLORY BE:
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
APOSTLE'S CREED:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only
Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under
Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose
again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father
Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the
body, and life everlasting. Amen.
SALVE REGINA:
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy! Hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To Thee do we
cry, poor banished children of Eve.To Thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate Thine eyes of mercy towards us and after this,
our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of Thy womb, Jesus O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin
Mary!
ACT OF CONTRITION:
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You and I detest all my sins, because I dread
the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend you, my God, who are
all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of your grace, to confess my
sins, to do penance and to amend my life.
SPECIAL ACT OF SORROW:
Forgive me my sins, O Lord, forgive me my sins; the sins of my youth, the sins of my age, the sins
of my soul, the sins of my body; my idle sins, my serious voluntary sins, the sins I know, the sins I
have concealed so long, and which are now hidden from my memory. I am truly sorry for every
sin, mortal and venial, for all the sins of my childhood up to the present hour. I know my sins have
wounded Thy tender Heart, O my Savior, let me be freed from the bonds of evil through the most
bitter Passion of my Redeemer. O my Jesus, forget and forgive what I have been. Amen.
ACT OF FAITH:
O, my God, I firmly believe all the sacred truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because
Thou hast revealed them, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived. Amen.
ACT OF HOPE:
O, my God, relying on Thy infinite goodness and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the
help of Thy grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.
Amen.
ACT OF LOVE:
O, my God, I love Thee above all things with my whole heart, soul, mind, body, and will, because
Thou art all-good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbor as myself for love of Thee. I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon of those whom I have injured. Amen.
COME HOLY SPIRIT:
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send
forth Your Spirit, and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
MEMORARE:
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your
protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this
confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to you do I come, before you I stand,
sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy
hear and answer me. Amen.
PRAYER BEFORE A CRUCIFIX:
Look down upon me good and gentle Jesus, while before Thy face I humbly kneel and with the
most fervent desire of soul pray and beseech Thee to fix deep in my heart lively sentiments of faith,
hope and charity, true contrition for my sins and a firm purpose of amendment, while I contemplate with great love and tender pity Thy Five wounds, pondering over them within me and calling to
mind the words which David Thy prophet said of Thee my Jesus, "They have pierced My Hands
and My Feet, they have numbered all My bones."
GRACE BEFORE MEALS:
Bless us, O Lord, and these Thy gifts which we are about to receive from Thy bounty through
Christ our Lord. Amen
GRACE AFTER MEALS:
We give Thee thanks, O Almighty God, for these Thy benefits Who lives and reigns, world without end.Amen. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
