A God That Comes to Be With Us

He’s a deity in splendor.

He rules the wave of the beach,

the curve of the mountain, and

the current of life within us.

He created us human with freewill.

We betrayed Him yet He loved us still.

He could not see us suffer,

so He’s a God that comes to be with us.

He designed a way to save our souls.

Not by making loops and rituals to follow,

but by giving of Himself in a Different Form.

He’s a God that comes to be with us.

His gift through the Virgin Mary

Seems controversial and contrary.

In her womb, heart, and mind lay the truth.

He’s a God that comes to be with us.

He took on our human form,

unsettled lives, and created reform.

To save the world He was born

a God that comes to be with us.

His life touched many.

His story is not one of Greek philosophy.

His life addressed the current day cares

that plague people’s everyday.

He’s a God that comes to live with us

And

He’s a God that comes to be with us.

His death on the cross

as He knew He would go

signified the beginning

of a God that continues to

live with us.

Your part in the equation

is to get your share of His attention.

You are worthy.

Ask and you shall receive.

Seek and you shall find.

Knock and it shall be open to you.

He is a God that comes to be with us.
